As a Casual/Floater Security Guard at Wincon, you will:

  • Maintain a visible presence for the public as they enter the premises.
  • Engage in continuous walking and patrolling of sites to mitigate threats.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and a good command of the English language.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors of the client's property.
  • Conduct routine property patrols and respond to fire alarms.
  • Detect, challenge, and manage unwanted individuals.
  • Promote safety and adhere to client-site emergency procedures.
  • Act as an on-site first aid responder until expert medical help arrives.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A valid Ontario Security Guard License in good standing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physical fitness to walk, run, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs.
  • Preferred: Proven customer service experience (1 year or more)
  • A friendly personality and a passion for professional interactions with people
  • The ability to handle multiple situations effectively while providing quality service.
  • Valid First Aid and Level "C" CPR certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
  • Additional industry-recognized certifications or experience are assets.
