Senior Manager, Investor Relations ID-1600

The Investor Relations Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in managing communication between NerdWallet and its shareholders, analysts, and potential investors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, coupled with strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills to effectively convey the company's financial performance, strategy, and outlook to the investment community.

Where you can make an impact: 

  • Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and other materials for quarterly earnings releases, investor conferences, and other investor meetings.

  • Monitor and analyze capital markets activity, including changes in shareholder ownership, analyst coverage, and industry trends.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders within the finance community.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC filings, disclosure obligations, and corporate governance best practices.

  • Serve as a liaison between finance, strategy, and other departments to ensure alignment on investor relations initiatives.

  • Facilitate communication between senior management and the investor community, including preparing executives for investor meetings and presentations.

  • Develop and implement Investor Relations strategy.

  • Engage in public speaking engagements and communicate NerdWallet's financial results and analysis in a professional and polished manner.

  • 8+ years of related work experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, concise messaging.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders within the finance community is preferred.

  • Proven experience in investor relations, financial analysis, investment management or related roles within a publicly traded company or financial institution is preferred.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate trends and proactively position the company within the investment community, leveraging financial expertise.
