  • Responsible for training device development while creating a long-term strategic plan to support American Airlines Inflight training growth
  • Oversees budget, ordering and tracking of equipment inventory and utilization of training devices to support departmental operation and decision making
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Inflight training equipment manual
  • Partners with sim tech to trouble shoot device and training equipment issues
  • Leads the Inflight Production team within Inflight Training in support of internal training classes

 

  • Identifies business problems and opportunities, outlines strategic options, define success, and gain consensus among stakeholders and senior management
  • Assists with internal and external audit processes
  • Oversees the daily operation of the Inflight virtual reality training lab 
  • Develops and delivers presentations and 5-point justifications for business cases and recommendations on key initiatives to Senior Management, as needed
  • Interfaces with a variety of functional areas including Inflight Policy and Procedures, Procurement, Finance, Tech Ops, CRE, Flight and the FAA for strategic and tactical decision-making
  • Flex to support additional tasks and responsibilities as directed
 
 
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

 

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 1 year experience with project management
  • 1 year experience with vendor management, finance, and accounts payable
  • Understanding of Flight Service Training Operations
  • Understanding of Comply365
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations
