How you’ll affect things:

As a Miaplaza Content Moderator, you will be responsible for fostering a fun and secure social setting for children. Reading and moderating children’s posts on our educational website community, including texts, artwork, and videos, are the primary responsibilities of this position.

 

While Moderators do not teach core subjects, they are an important part of children’s education because they help students develop social skills by encouraging them to be respectful members of the community.

Miaplaza’s Moderation department operates at a rapid pace, necessitating quick decisions from its employees throughout the day. Up to 500 posts can typically be handled per hour by moderators. We encourage you to apply if you are up for this challenge and thrive in a fast-paced environment!

How you’ll act:

To make sure that community rules are followed, keep an eye on and look over a lot of the content created by students.
In order to keep the environment welcoming and positive, give our students feedback and address their concerns.
Understand and connect with the young audience by staying up to date on trends and pop culture.

 


Develop, implement, and enhance content moderation policies and guidelines in conjunction with the moderation management team and other Moderators.
Participate in content moderation tool and technique training sessions.

Schedule:

Moderators work four-hour shifts and can work two consecutive shifts in a day.
Candidates in any U.S. time zone are welcome to apply! Office hours are Sunday through Saturday, 3:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific.
Moderators can start as part-time employees and advance to full-time positions as they gain experience.
