Associate Quality Production Specialist (FAI)Company:Boeing Distribution, Inc.Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Services, is looking for an Associate Quality Production Specialist (FAI) to join our team in Wichita, KS.Position Responsibilities:Maintain QA internal and external systems such as QA helpdesk, IQMS, etc. working with customer quality engineers and internal stakeholders to ensure systems are up to date and actions close in a timely manner.Disposition and control of non-conforming products.Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers. Perform First Articles for submission to customers.Work in conjunction with the Customer Quality Engineer and Quality Management with the implementation of new inspection, measuring and test equipment and customer demanded part verification requirements.Perform inbound, in-process, and outbound Quality Inspections.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):2 - 4 years of related work experienceExperience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article InspectionExperience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparatorKnowledge of AS9100 and AS9102Ability to read and interpret blueprintsFluent in English (i.e., reading, writing, and verbal communication)Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skillsProficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):GD&T SkillsKnowledge of AS9100 requirementsPrevious aerospace inspection experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
