The Brokerage Risk Management Department at Robinhood oversees the comprehensive risk management frameworks of our brokerages, including risk governance, oversight, specialized risk programs, and advanced risk data infrastructure. The team is dedicated to the proactive identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks throughout the risk management lifecycle. As a Brokerage Risk Program Manager, you will spearhead strategic risk initiatives, conduct data analytics to support risk mitigation efforts, design, implement, and manage sophisticated risk programs, and monitor emerging risk exposures. You will play a crucial role in coordinating operational risk management functions, including conducting risk assessments, tracking loss and risk events, establishing key risk indicators, managing issues, developing robust internal controls, and continuous monitoring systems for broker-dealer exposures. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments, perform control testing, lead risk event retrospectives, and manage issues from identification to resolution.

  • Design, develop, and oversee risk indicators, operational controls, and risk alerts and dashboards to ensure continuous monitoring and supervision of risk exposures.

  • Utilize data analytics to drive strategic risk initiatives and prepare materials for business risk reviews and risk committee meetings.

  • Lead and facilitate meetings with working groups, ensuring effective communication and collaboration at all organizational levels.

  • Enhance the operational control function by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of internal firm account activities.

  • Develop integration solutions for brokerage risk activities to the GRC platform and train partners to use the platform independently.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Broker Dealer Operations, Risk Management, and Data Analytics.
  • ,
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 24 (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

  • Deep knowledge of broker-dealer operations and a passion for risk management.
  • ,
  • Proven program management skills, with the ability to implement operational improvements and manage comprehensive risk management programs.
