About the position

As a Cloud App Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies to create and enhance cloud-based solutions for the Army. This role involves developing technical architectures that meet client needs, managing AWS environments, and ensuring continuous improvement. You will work on complex problems, mentor team members, and contribute to innovative solutions while utilizing the latest cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with using cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services.
  • 5+ years of experience with using Python or R.
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services and using tools like EC2, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions.
  • Experience with DevOps and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Experience with CloudTrail Logging, Encryption, and secure configurations.
  • Experience in working with GitLab.
  • Ability to communicate with non-technical clients and help scope work.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex technical issues.
  • Experience working at the DoD.
  • Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring.
