Title: CPT-10020 Human Resources & Administrative Virtual Assistant

Independent Contractor – Business Support VA-Junior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Creative Employment Services is a full-service HR and staffing firm supporting businesses with workforce management, recruitment, and employee administration.

The company is seeking a Business Support Virtual Assistant to fill the gap left by a former full-time in-house HR staff member. This part-time role will assist with HR communications, recruiting support, administrative coordination, and presentation scheduling.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and detail-oriented, with strong English communication skills and the ability to learn within a structured HR system. The company uses ADP for payroll and HR management, and the VA will have access to a dedicated support line for assistance.
Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone relatively new to HR support.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • 1. HR Communication & Coordination
    • Manage HR-related email correspondence (e.g., reimbursements, approvals, schedule changes, staff coordination)
    • Schedule and host Zoom meetings for HR topics (e.g., “Today we’re going to talk about 401(k) benefits”)
    • Prepare and send HR announcements and internal communications
    • Maintain organized digital files for HR documents, evaluations, and policies
  • 2. Administrative & Presentation Support
    • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations for staff and client meetings
    • Proofread HR documents, employee evaluations, and company communications
    • Track and update HR reports, schedules, and performance data
    • Support internal staff with document updates and reminders
  • 3. Recruiting & Resume Review
    • Review resumes on Indeed and match candidates to job descriptions
    • Coordinate with the in-house recruiter to shortlist qualified candidates
    • Track candidate progress and assist with interview scheduling
    • Organize and maintain digital recruitment records
  • 4. HR Support & Compliance
    • Assist with employee evaluation processes and documentation
    • Support HR leadership with tracking review completions
    • Perform basic data entry and updates in ADP (training provided)
    • Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • 1–3 years of administrative or HR support experience (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication (Level A–B accent)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Google Workspace
  • Comfortable using Zoom for meetings and presentations
  • Familiarity with Indeed or other recruiting platforms (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize independently
  • Professional, dependable, and eager to learn

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
