Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Sales Representative who will be trained to manage the entire sales process, from initial customer contact to the close of escrow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors

Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites

Overcome sales objections and close sales

Document transactions accurately

Track progress of loans, options, and construction

Respond to customer inquiries

Document cancellations

Maintain all lot and sales files

Monitor models and sales office for disclosures, supplies, repairs, etc.

Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profit

Build and maintain rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members

Ensure compliance with quality standards through policy execution

Required Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; ability to drive during day and night

Proficiency with DRH Sales applications on smartphones, tablets, or laptops

Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or application form

Proficiency in MS Office and email

Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb stairs, and handle unlevel terrain for up to 8 hours; lift/move up to 25 pounds; good vision including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions; moderate noise levels

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CRM software

Previous sales experience, preferably in the industry

Strong communication skills

Highly motivated
