Job Description


As a Delivery Associate, you are in the most critical and valued position. We use top of the line technology and comfortable company-provided vehicles to safely deliver packages to homes, apartments, and businesses. Each Delivery Associate (DA) is a direct representative of our Company, Lime Logistics. This job is for motivated individuals with a great attitude. As a Delivery Associate, it will be necessary to think on your feet to make successful deliveries while maintaining safety, focus, and providing great customer service. Shift Descriptions:

  • All shifts are 9 - 10 hours in length (no shorter shifts are available)
  • Shifts are assigned 7 days a week
  • We work 361 days a year
  • Holidays are: Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Customer Obsessed – You represent the company. As such, you must be professional and respectful whenever interacting with the public. You must continuously look for ways to improve the customer experience including: identifying better ways to place packages at the customer site, assist with delivering extra packages when time permits, or any other duties as needed.
  • Driving and Delivery Experience – Previous driving and delivery experience is preferred. Please note any experience with Lyft, Uber, FedEx, UPS or other delivery organizations. You must have a valid AZ driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle. We always enforce a strict adherence to traffic laws and company safety procedures.
  • Physical Fitness – You will be required to deliver up to 350+ packages a day including lifting and carrying up to 50lbs. This includes: climbing in and out of delivery vehicles, bending, climbing stairs and stooping.
  • Team Oriented – Lime Logistics is a team. As such, all members work together to get the job done. You will be required to deliver your assigned packages and assist other team members when required. Team members are expected to show up on time, take care of assigned communication equipment, and keep vans clean and ready for service at the end of each day.

What to expect on a typical day:

  • Arrive at distribution facility by the required time to receive your van assignment
  • On-call drivers will need to be available with little notice
  • Attend the morning stand-up meeting to discuss areas of focus
  • Receive route assignment, keys, tools, and delivery smartphone / GPS device
  • Device loaded with the pre-determined route and delivery estimates for each delivery
  • Perform a pre-trip vehicle inspection thoroughly checking the van for damage
  • Deliver up to 350+ packages
  • Be on your feet up to 9 -12 hours per day
  • Climb in and out of a van for each delivery
  • Follow all delivery instructions
  • Help fellow team members as needed
  • Return van to station after refueling
  • Remove all trash &debris from van
  • Return Smartphone/GPS scanner device, tools, and keys
  • Perform post trip inspection noting any required maintenance items
Qualifications


Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to handle the walking, lifting, bending, stair climbing, and stooping required to perform the job
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Tech savvy and able to operate a Smartphone/GPS device with scanner and team applications
  • Must observe traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times
