Job Description:

    Sprout Social is looking to hire a bold, visionary Director of Social Media to lead our global social media and influencer marketing strategy across platforms.
  • We’re looking for a bold, visionary Director of Social Media to lead our global social media strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and X (formerly Twitter).
  • In this role, you won’t just run social—you’ll redefine it for the industry.
  • You’ll be part strategist, part creator, part evangelist, and part futurist.
  • You’ll drive conversations that matter around social ROI, AI, marketing technology, creators, and more.

Requirements:

    10+ years in social media and/or a combination of social media and brand marketing, with at least 3+ in a leadership role at an enterprise or high-growth brand.
  • Fluent in the strengths, quirks, and formats of each social platform, know how to adapt messaging accordingly, and are deeply familiar with Sprout and/or other social media management platforms and marketing attribution/measurement tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo Measure.
  • Expert understanding of content creation tools (eg. CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Canva, DaVinci Resolve Studio) and know what good organic social content looks like and how to create it. You also have a strong command of paid promotion and influencer engagement strategies.
