The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automations, maintaining the tech stack, optimizing data flows, and documenting setups. While the role will involve enhancing both front-end and back-end user experiences, the primary focus will be on ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance from a back-end perspective. Strong project management skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for coordinating various operational tasks and ensuring efficient processes within the Shopify environment.<br><br><b>Position Responsibilities: </b><br><br><b>Platform Modernization and Maintenance: </b><br><ul><li>Manages and maintains the Shopify back-end, ensuring smooth operation and integration with other systems or applications</li><li>Builds and maintains automations to streamline back-end operations for Shopify</li><li>Optimizes data flows and ensure efficient management of the tech stack</li><li>Documents setups and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational continuity</li><li>Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to order maintenance for Boeingstore.com, Team Boeing Access, Boeingteamwear.com, including return support</li><li>Researches and evaluates Shopify apps and current integrations to enhance operational efficiency</li><li>Analyzes down and upstream impacts of system changes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions</li><li>Leads maintenance projects, including abandoned cart recovery and system integrations, to improve overall user experience and operational performance</li><li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices in back-end operations and resolve operational challenges</li><li>Stays updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve back-end processes</li><li>Oversees compliance management for Shopify platforms, ensuring adherence to both Shopify and Boeing IT security standards and requirements</li><li>Reviews website content for accuracy and ensures compliance with brand standards</li></ul><br><b>Project Management:</b><br><ul><li>Develops and manages project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule</li><li>Coordinates with cross-functional teams to align project goals and objectives</li><li>Monitors project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders</li><li>Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success</li><li>Maintains detailed documentation of processes, workflows, and project milestones</li></ul><br><br><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, UX, or a related field</li><li>Proven experience with Shopify, including both front-end and back-end functionalities</li><li>Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively</li><li>Capability to communicate technical concepts in a way that is easily understood by non-technical team members</li></ul><br><br><b>Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):</b><br><ul><li>Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JSON, Shopify APIs and JavaScript</li><li>Knowledge of analytics tools to track and report on website performance</li><li>Ability to understand and communicate both technical and non-technical concepts and instructions with ease and confidence</li><li>Experience working with continuous changing requirements</li><li>Proactive self-starter who independently seeks out training and information to take initiative without waiting for instructions</li><li>Able to apply critical thinking to identify and resolve technical or operational issues, including learning and troubleshooting integrations or process flows</li><li>Actively pursue opportunities to grow and enhance your skillset</li><li>Foster collaboration by listening carefully, seeking to understand, and offering support</li></ul><br><br><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b><br><br>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.<br><br><b>Pay & Benefits:</b><br><br>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
