BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking FEMA Project COPE - Crisis Counselor II to join our outstanding and compassionate team in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Hernando County! ? Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health ? Location: Hillsborough, Pasco & Hernando County ? Status: PRN - 9 Month Contract Exempt: No ? Shift Hours: M - F hours Vary ? Weekend Work: Occasional ? On Call: No The FEMA Project COPE - Crisis Counselor II is responsible for: ? Working with individuals, families and groups to provide outreach, emotional support, individual and group crisis interventions, public education, and linkage to needed referrals. ? Representing the program in the community and networks with other agencies and partners to ensure the needs of the survivors are met. ? Providing presentation to community groups on disaster reactions, coping skills and stress management. ? Travel is required throughout the assigned county. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate. Experience: ? 1 year of substance use and/or behavioral health preferred. Required Certification/License: ? BLS (Basic Life Support) within 60 days ? Driver's License Required Education: ? Bachelors degree in human services or related field. Come join our wonderful team!
