Overview:

World Travel Holdings is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Team in the B2B division---Dream Vacations and CruiseOne. The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing creative solutions shaping the visual effectiveness for print and digital marketing for our nationally recognized travel agency. The multifaceted designer should have both technical and creative aptitude and will be part of a team that collaborates with marketers to create compelling visual designs. The ideal candidate will be a result-focused self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge share. This role is hybrid; you will work in the Fort Lauderdale, FL office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and work from home the rest of the week.

Responsibilities:

Develop creative solutions for print and digital initiatives including emails, promotional web landing pages, user interfaces (UI) and website content flow, social media, tradeshow graphics, event promotional marketing, PowerPoints, and more

Responsible for the creative of email campaigns, including html development, testing, and proofing

Perform design and graphic production tasks under tight deadlines, in a high-volume production environment with solid consistency and accuracy to ensure minimal errors

Provide original thoughts and vision to design concepts and creative strategies; willingly offer and accept creative critique of designs

Manage design projects from concept to completion, delivering quality and innovative visuals while upholding brand standards and guidelines

Participate openly and enthusiastically in brainstorming sessions and other planning activities

Demonstrate excellent planning, multi-tasking, organizational, and project management skills

Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and design technology to propose innovative ideas

Communicate effectively with business owners, provide design approvals and direction

Qualifications:

Degree in graphic arts, web design or a design-related field required

2 years design experience in a fast-paced environment required

Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML + CSS, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive Docs

Candidate must present a portfolio that showcases design and technical skills

Experience with JavaScript/jQuery, Flexbox, Bootstrap, Salesforce, Copywriting, Litmus (or similar email proofing tool), web design, and video editing experience a plus

Must be comfortable working on a Mac platform

Must have strong attention to detail and possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to proof your own projects, as well as other projects produced by the team

Familiarity with Print Production requirements and working with current web and email marketing standards and best practices

Knowledge of the cruise, travel or franchise industry a plus
