About the position

Secureworks, a global cybersecurity leader, is seeking a Partner Account Manager (PAM) to spearhead growth in the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) market across North America. This remote position requires a proactive individual who can leverage existing relationships to recruit new partners into the Secureworks program, focusing on the industry-leading XDR platform, Taegis. The PAM will play a crucial role in onboarding new partners, enabling them to build their service offerings around the Taegis platform, and training their engineers and sales teams to effectively market these services. The PAM will be responsible for developing a substantial pipeline of MSSP prospects, which is key to the role's success. This includes formulating plans with MSSPs to develop their own opportunities and pipeline.

The PAM will work closely with various Secureworks teams, including the MSSP Program and North America Sales Teams, to coordinate activities and drive demand for partner service offerings powered by Taegis. Building strong relationships with sales leadership and the Head of the MSSP Program is essential, and some travel may be required to facilitate these connections. In this role, the PAM will acquire new partners and co-sell Secureworks solutions, particularly focusing on the Taegis XDR offering. The PAM will target Global and Regional MSSP prospects, ensuring opportunities are well-documented in the CRM system. The role also involves presenting technical product demos to potential partners and maximizing the pipeline by guiding MSSP partners on how to effectively target their markets. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment targets is a critical aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new partners and co-sell Secureworks solutions with MSSP partners, focusing on Taegis XDR offering.
  • Target Global and Regional MSSP prospects billing $1M+/annum in Taegis ACV.
  • Utilize CRM to ensure opportunities are forecasted and well-documented.
  • Work with Pre-Sales Team to present technical product demos to potential partners.
  • Lead MSSP partners to understand the benefits of a partnership with Secureworks.
  • Develop meaningful pipeline with existing MSSP Partners focusing on Taegis XDR offering.
  • Maximize pipeline by driving MSSP partners to target their focus markets effectively.
  • Collaborate with other PAMs, Sales leadership, Sales reps, and the MSSP Program Team.
  • Maintain a highly proactive approach to prospecting with MSSP partners.
  • Leverage active working relationships in the market to develop new relationships with Secureworks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the security industry, technical, and competitive landscapes.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales experience in a Channel role with knowledge of significant MSSP partners across North America.
  • Experience in Channel Account Management and pipeline development with MSSPs.
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and value selling.
  • Familiarity with MSSP business models and services.
  • Salesforce (SFDC) skills to track activities, opportunities, and pipeline progression.
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs.
