This role involves managing lease actions, new store openings, and fostering industry relationships to drive growth.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all lease renewals, lease actions and real estate related activity for existing stores in the Central US & Canada
  • Deliver all new store targets for US Mainline stores in the Central US & Canada
  • Identify the target locations and store deployment plan for respective territory
  • Negotiate all terms for each new US stores
  • Provide market by market expertise of current real estate and retail activity, trends and development
  • Align with regional leads to assure all established strategies are accomplished and delivered in designated timeline
  • Lead each deal through the necessary work-streams including other cross functional partners to assure each deal can be presented, evaluated and approved
  • Must work closely with business partners to assure agreement and accurate delivery of the Levi's store
  • Post Approval – help manage the post approval process including assist with lease negotiation, design approval and construction execution
  • Remain updated and aligned on all internal projects and strategies that impact our retail store execution
  • Develop strong landlord, broker and retailer relationships in the industry

Skills

  • Bachelor Degree – preferably Business Finance or Real Estate
  • 10 years of experience in commercial retail real estate
  • Experience with real estate finance metrics such as NPV analysis, ROIC, IRR and others. Can understand and interpret store level P&L's.
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Intermediate level understanding of lease provisions
  • Strong understanding of retail real estate market standards
  • Strong market understanding for each major metro area in territory
  • Established industry network and contacts desired and preferred
  • Regular Executive level presentations are required
  • 50%+ travel required
