This position focuses on processing insurance verification and prior authorizations working with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure timely approvals. Key Responsibilities Perform outbound and inbound calls to assist patients and healthcare providers. Review and process prior authorization requests for medications, services, and procedures. Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits. Partner with providers, pharmacies, and payers to obtain necessary documentation. Accurately document all interactions for compliance and auditing purposes. Ensure all cases are processed in a timely manner according to program guidelines. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all company policies. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent experience in medical benefits verification or prior authorization (required). Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance claims, and authorization workflows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a high-volume call environment.
