Summary

We're looking for a Senior Brand Sales Director to join our growing Brand Sales team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on new business development with non-brick-and-mortar brands-think CPG, financial services, alcohol/beverage, DTC, and more. You'll be selling Yelp's managed service advertising solutions, including Yelp Audiences, our proprietary search retargeting product, as well as display, video, OTT, CTV, and audio formats.

This is a true hunter role-you'll be responsible for building your own book of business from the ground up, identifying and engaging new brand partners, and driving revenue through strategic, consultative selling. What it takes to succeed:

  • Have 12+ years of experience in digital media, advertising sales, and both client and agency partnerships, including 8+ years in a direct sales role
  • Have a strong track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas and closing deals in the $150K+ range
  • Have experience selling managed service and programmatic advertising solutions
  • Are a natural hunter who thrives on building new relationships, opening doors, and creating opportunities from scratch-focused exclusively on managed services sales.
  • Are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles (3-6 months) and engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic, curious, and solutions-oriented-you don't just sell products, you solve problems
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a large book of business and hit activity targets (18-25 accounts/month, 8+ touchpoints/account)
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong desire to contribute to a growing team and evolving product set
  • Passionate about Yelp's mission and excited to help brands tap into our 76M+ monthly unique visitors at the moment of intent
