Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Staff Accountant job in Thornton, CO. To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or a similar subject. You must also have at least 1 year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $50,000 and $60,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

· Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations

Other Jobs You May Be Interested In

· Preparing bank reconciliations

· Completing monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting close processes including journal entries and account reconciliations

· Assisting in audits with internal and external auditors

· Working with AP, Payroll, and other departments to resolve any accounting issues

· Maintaining fixed asset capitalization, research, and its depreciation schedule

· All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or a similar subject required

At least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar accounting role

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent analytical skills

Previous experience with ERP software such as Sage preferred but not required

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Compensation:

Annual salary between $50,000 and $60,000
