Position Overview:

As a Strategic Sales Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic sales team, responsible for identifying prospects, converting them into loyal customers, and nurturing long-term, value-driven relationships across our nationwide territory, with a special focus on your specific region in alignment with HPS goals. Working closely with our Operations Teams, you'll ensure our customers receive top-notch technical solutions. Your role will involve planning and coordinating account activities, generating sales opportunities, and consistently achieving sales targets.

 

Provided training:

Minimum 3 months on-the-job, concentrated technical and commercial training with our seal experts and business development team before assuming portfolio account management.

 

The Strategic Sales Specialist will be responsible for:

Prospecting and securing long-term customers in targeted industries across the US (nationwide territory).

Achieving sales goals and quotas.

Developing a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer products/services, and competitive landscapes.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitor products and market activities.

Strategically vetting prospects and pursuing high-potential accounts.

Anticipating customer pain points and providing technical solutions.

Managing client communication and relationships.

Attending trade shows and industry events.

Resolving customer issues and complaints promptly.

Committing to quality and environmental efforts.

 

The ideal candidate is:

Inquisitive, resourceful, and detail oriented.

Disciplined with strong planning and preparation skills.

Observant and adept at reading customer cues.

Collaborative and creative problem-solver.

 

Requirements:

3-5 years of outstanding sales performance, preferably focused on a technical, tangible product.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.

Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a demanding environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to pass pre-employment screening, which includes a drug test and a background check.

Ability to work 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday. This role is eligible for our limited hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office, 1 day remote), in coordination with up to 40-50% nationwide travel for customer visits, trade shows, industry events, etc.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require sponsorship.
