Framework is now hiring certified tutors for Fall 2025 tutoring!

We are looking for certified, experienced, and creative educators who will provide virtual tutoring services to a diverse group of elementary, middle, or high school students covering various math and ELA subjects. The tutor will facilitate one-on-one or a small group instruction for up to 8 students per group. The tutoring service is designed to provide academic support via a safe and secure online video conferencing platform for students in different time increments, ranging from 15 minute to 60 minute sessions.

We are currently in need of tutors with weekly availability of Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00-8:00 pm EST. Must be available all 3 days.

This is a remote, part-time tutoring role with no guarantee of hours.

OVERVIEW:

  • W-2 part-time employment
  • Pay rate of $35 per hour of tutoring; $20 per hour of predetermined admin/prep time
  • No guaranteed minimum amount of hours
  • Set your own schedule - sessions occur during the school day, afterschool, evenings, and even weekends
  • No lesson planning - curriculum and slide decks are provided

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide high-quality, live tutoring services to students in 1:1 and/or small group settings
  • Conduct tutoring sessions ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour in length
  • Create a virtual learning environment that is safe, accepting, fun, and interactive
  • Deliver curriculum in a clear and engaging manner
  • Monitor and adapt instruction to meet student needs
  • Administer provided assessments according to a predetermined schedule
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with the Framework Tutor Ops Team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must hold a current and valid teaching license - expired licenses are not accepted
  • Must be certified in General Ed, Math, or ELA
  • Must be available weekly on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00-8:00 pm EST. Must be available all 3 days.
  • Must reside and work in the U.S.
  • Must have a working computer, mic, and camera, as well as reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free environment
  • Ability to pass a federal level background check, which may include fingerprinting
  • Proficiency utilizing online platforms and virtual teaching tools
  • Prior online tutoring experience is a plus
  • Bi-lingual abilities are a plus
