POSITION SUMMARY

The Receptionist serves as a key point of connection among residents, team members, and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional first impression through in-person, phone, and digital interactions. This role ensures assistance for guests and residents as needed. Additionally, the Receptionist provides vital administrative support to the management team and the broader community.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Coordinate incoming calls.

Greeting visitors and residents warmly and direct them appropriately.

Support Resident Services Coordinator with required administrative tasks.

Assist with resident maintenance requests.

Manage transportation schedule.

Ensure a constant stock of brochures, welcome packets, and related materials is readily available.

Supervisory Responsibility: None.

Education & Experience:

Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in customer service and working within an office environment preferred.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Must be available to work 6-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and midnight.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means.

Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities. Proficient in multitasking, prioritization, and demonstrating excellent time management skills.

Comfortable with technology and proficient in various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google, and others.

Ability to schedule, provide follow-up and assist others with a professional customer service demeanor.

Respond to inquiries from residents, families, employees, and the public in person, by phone, or via email.
