About The Role We are seeking a Software Engineer III (Unity) to design and deliver engaging interactive experiences for millions of players and fans. This is a hands-on role for a developer who thrives on building performant, data-driven systems and delivering high-quality features across multiple platforms including WebGL and mobile.You will help ensure our experiences are responsive, scalable, and capable of integrating seamlessly with real-time services, backend systems and browser-based platforms. You Will Design, develop, and maintain Unity client systems using C# for interactive experiences. Implement modular gameplay systems using Unity’s component-based architecture. Build data-driven systems using ScriptableObjects and configuration-driven workflows. Optimize runtime performance using Unity Profiler, Frame Debugger, and memory analysis tools. Develop and maintain Asset Bundle or Addressable pipelines for dynamic content delivery. Implement asynchronous asset loading and streaming strategies to minimize load times. Optimize Unity applications for WebGL and mobile platforms, accounting for browser, memory, and platform constraints. Build Unity editor tools and utilities to support debugging, testing, and development workflows. Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver seamless interactive experiences. Delivery of high-quality Unity features aligned with product goals and technical requirements. Performance, stability, and reliability of client systems across supported platforms, including Web and mobile. Efficient rendering, memory usage, and load times through effective optimization practices. Successful integration of real-time data, APIs, and backend services into the Unity client. Clear, maintainable code and meaningful contributions during code reviews and technical discussions. Effective collaboration with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features. Growing ownership of systems and continuous improvement of technical quality and development practices. You Have 5+ years of professional Unity development experience, including shipping and supporting production applications or games. Proficiency in C#, with a strong understanding of Unity engine architecture, component-based design, and scripting workflows. Experience working with software architecture patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or similar modular architectures for scalable client systems. Proven experience building data-driven systems and integrating external services or APIs (REST, WebSockets, or similar). Experience integrating Unity WebGL experiences into web platforms or embedded web environments. Experience writing unit tests and automated tests using frameworks such as NUnit or Unity Test Framework. Experience with performance optimization and profiling using tools such as Unity Profiler, Frame Debugger, and memory analysis tools. Experience implementing runtime performance patterns such as object pooling, efficient update loops, and memory-conscious systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated Unity builds, and version control systems such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
