Responsibilities

  • Lead ideation and development for long-form and short-form YouTube content
  • Source and coordinate unique props, locations, and specialized contractors (engineers, researchers, fabricators, etc.) under tight deadlines
  • Proactively identify and secure high-value guests, experts, and brand or corporate collaborators
  • Review edits with a retention-first mindset, providing actionable feedback on pacing, hooks, storytelling, and structure to maximize Average View Duration
  • Analyze backend analytics and guide A/B testing on titles and thumbnails to inform future creative direction
  • Oversee production workflow from pre-production through post, ensuring smooth shoot days and operational efficiency
  • Maintain an active pulse on trends and platform shifts, ready to capitalize on timely opportunities or solve production challenges in real time

Skills

  • 3+ years experience in digital content production, YouTube strategy, or creator-led media
  • Deep understanding of YouTube retention mechanics, packaging strategy, and audience behavior
  • Proven ability to execute complex productions quickly and resourcefully
  • Strong networking and outreach skills with experience booking talent, experts, or collaborators
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data and translating insights into creative adjustments
