This role will require 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.<br><br>The Structural Heart business at Medtronic is dedicated to advancing innovative therapies that address complex structural heart disease through minimally invasive technologies. The Senior Financial Analyst supporting Structural Heart Marketing plays a key role in enabling operational execution across the organization.<br><br>This role serves as a finance partner to the Structural Heart Marketing organization and the Interventional Cardiology Therapies Physician Relations, Integrated Marketing, and Healthcare Economics, Policy and Reimbursement teams. The Senior Financial Analyst supports financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities that enable informed decision making and effective resource allocation across marketing and physician engagement initiatives.<br><br>This position is based on-site in Mounds View, Minnesota and partners closely with marketing leadership, commercial teams, and finance leadership to ensure strong financial management and alignment with Structural Heart growth priorities.<br><br>Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.<br><br><ul><li>Serve as the primary finance partner supporting the Vice President of Structural Heart Marketing, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the marketing organization.</li><li>Provide financial support for the Upstream Marketing & Strategy team and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer organization within Structural Heart.</li><li>Partner with Interventional Cardiology Therapies Physician Relations, Integrated Marketing, and Health Economics, Policy and Reimbursement teams to manage budgets and provide financial insights.</li><li>Support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process through revenue reporting, demand analysis, and coordination with cross-functional planning teams.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to monitor marketing spend and key performance indicators.</li><li>Analyze financial performance versus plan and forecast and provide insights to support operational decision making.</li><li>Partner with the Senior Finance Director on ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and strategic projects supporting the Structural Heart organization.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting tools, and forecasting accuracy across the marketing finance organization.<br><br><br></li></ul>Must Have: Minimum Requirements<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field</li><li>Minimum of 4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience<br><br><br></li></ul>Nice to Have<br><br><ul><li>Experience supporting marketing, commercial, or sales organizations</li><li>Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes</li><li>Experience supporting demand planning or revenue forecasting activities</li><li>Strong financial modeling and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders</li><li>Experience working in a matrixed organization</li><li>Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to have difficult conversations</li><li>Curiosity of non-finance functions<br><br><br></li></ul>For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R.<br><br><ul><li>214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Job Requirements<br><br></strong>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. <br><br>The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
