Title: Field Operations Leader (Service) Grid Systems Location: Houston Job Description: Full time job requisition id R5045891 Job Description Summary Reporting directly to the GSI NAM Service Leader, this position provides strategic oversight of field operations in NAM region. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating field service operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality customer support. This role oversees field operation managers, field engineers and technicians, manage service schedules, supports customer satisfaction, and drives operational performance across HVDC, FACTS, ACIS and GIS technologies. You are responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, quality, fostering a culture of accountability, and mentoring your team to deliver seamless, value-driven service that strengthens long-term customer relationships and business growth. GSI NAM Services organization supports its customers with their HVDC, FACTS, ACIS and GIS substation system commissioning, maintenance and operation. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities The GSI NAM SER Field operations Leader supervises the field operations group . In this role, he/she: Manage the field specialists and field engineers, their personal and skill developments Grow and develop the team Maintain the field group at the expected level of productivity Anticipate business development and develop staffing plans to support the growth Sales and operational planning. Resource loading and planning. Ensure accurate resource loading and capacity planning to meet project demands Maintain the field activity planning up to date:   - Manage all the business requests   - Assign mission to the field specialist based on their skills and development needs -Find good compromise between business requirements and field specialist life balance   -Filter requests and guarantee stability to the field group  Field process owner; guarantee that the field mission are executed as per the processes. Improve the processes based on return of experience Supervise 24/7 response; Maintain rotation planning. Make sure someone answer the calls. Dispatch calls if required Customer Engagement - Serve as the primary point of escalation and strategic partner for the client. Build and maintain executive-level relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction Cross function coordination - Cross-Functional collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.   Contribute to the development of organizational strategy and policy, ensuring all delivery models align with broader business objectives. Proactively promote EHS; Maintain Field people trained as per legal requirements. Make sure mission risks are properly identified and mitigated. Guarantee appropriate PPEs are provided to the field specialist Travel up to 30%   Initial preference is to identify a candidate that will work in the Houston office location. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
