We are looking for an experienced merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate order fulfilment, maintaining appealing product displays, and efficiently packing and preparing items for delivery to customers. Strong communication skills and physical ability to handle lifting and packing tasks are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and the company's objectives.
  • Analyze sales figures, customers reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
  • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time scales.
  • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products as per the planogram.
  • Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
  • Remain up to date with the industry's best practices
  • Accurately process sales using cash registers, scanners or equipment
  • Accept cash, checks and bankcards for payment
  • Process payments according to company procedure
  • Provide change for cash payments
  • Issue receipts for payments received
  • Accurately calculate discounts and special offers
  • Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers
  • Process returns and exchanges
  • Redeem food stamps and coupons
  • Balance sales and receipts according to company procedure
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions
