JESS Jumeirah Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (LSA) for KS2 to start in January 2026. 

The role will briefly include:

  • participating in planning, assessment, supporting students in their teaching and learning, evaluation and record keeping

  • helping students to learn effectively both in group sessions and individually to support learning

  • providing observational feedback to class teacher and/or year group leader

  • assisting class teachers in the development and delivery of provision

  • to cover for class teachers in their absence, as required

  • attend relevant CPD 

  • carrying out other duties relevant to the role, to include school trips 

The successful applicants will:

  • hold as a minimum a High School Diploma. A CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent would be desirable.

  • have relevant and recent school-based experience within the classroom.

  • have a good rapport with students from age of 4 to 11

  • have high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour 

  • work effectively as part of a team

  • be comfortable taking direction from class teacher(s) and senior staff

  • upholds safeguarding and child protection

  • be keen, self-motivated and flexible

  • be enthusiastic and enjoy contact with children

  • encourage individual development and progress
