We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Vice President of Product Management to lead our Human Capital Management (HCM) portfolio. As the VP of Product Management, you will set the product vision, drive execution, and collaborate with everyone from engineering to sales to make this portfolio of products valuable for our customers and our business. We are currently in a period of rapid evolution, infusing our HCM suite with cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning to reduce the administrative burden on public servants. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Position Duties AI-Driven Strategy: Modernize the HCM product vision by identifying opportunities for Generative AI, predictive modeling, and intelligent automation to transform Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management. Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Human Capital Management portfolio, aligning with NEOGOV's overall business objectives and market demands. Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features and enhancements. Data & Insights: Leverage massive datasets to build predictive analytics tools (e.g., turnover forecasting and workforce planning) that provide actionable insights to agency leaders. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, support, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of product initiatives. Minimum Qualifications AI-Literate: You understand how to prioritize AI use cases that deliver real value and know how to bridge the gap between traditional HR workflows and intelligent automation. Customer-Centric: You understand the business value our solutions provide to our customers. Biased to Action: You are able to change direction quickly based on new information or emerging tech capabilities. Expert Communicator: You recognize that Product Management is often the glue in the organization. What You Have Experience: 10+ years in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading a portfolio of HR technology products with $100M+ in ARR. AI/ML Sophistication: Proven experience (or deep understanding) of implementing AI/ML features within a SaaS environment to drive automation and decision support. Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience with 3 or more of the following: Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Scheduling, ATS, LMS, and Performance Management. Leadership at Scale: Proven experience in managing and scaling high-performing product management teams of 15 or more members. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
