Senior Business Analyst IT Within Airbus Defence Space, Digital has started an exciting journey to improve its Digital Infrastructure Services. The ambition is to deliver to our internal customers best in class IT Services and technologies supporting Company challenges and Digitalisation. In the context of this ambition, a new opportunity for a Business Analyst with technical and certain project management skills leading the IT Infrastructure demands has arisen.

You will join the dynamic and transnational Digital Infrastructure Demand Management team. This team is key as it is the entry point for any request requiring new Digital Infrastructure or changes to an existing solution. The team members are in charge of understanding the request, analysing the impact on the existing Information Systems, managing and understanding the high-level design, committing on plan and costs in front of the Business Partner and handing-over to the relevant product team for implementation or managing the delivery with several teams.

The team works for several Defence Space business lines in close collaboration with different specialised product teams on a broad range of technologies like Cloud, Connectivity, CyberSecurity, Digital Workplace, Hosting, IoT, Software Automation, etc.

The Business

Analyst handles a portfolio of non-standard IT demands, tasks are:

  • Collecting and reviewing requirements from our Businesses, - Qualifying demands and assessing complexity, - Designing the high-level architecture, committing on budget and planning taking into consideration product team capacity, and - Managing the implementation and user acceptance test jointly with the MFT including product experts MSc (or comparable degree) in IT, Engineering, or similar discipline with expertise in IT infrastructure architectures and related experience (> 5 years) in an transnational context - Project Management skills (Waterfall and/or Agile) - IT infrastructure expertise in order to understand and challenge requirements in a technological context which is embracing a large scope of technologies - CyberSecurity awareness as the company activities are subject to security constraints is a plus - Spanish native and English intermediate This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the companys success, reputation and sustainable growth.
