What you'll be doing?

  • Operational Management: Plan and manage transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, optimizing routes and monitoring fleet performance.
  • Fleet & Driver Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance, manage driver schedules, and enforce safety policies to maintain a compliant and efficient fleet.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to transportation laws and safety regulations, managing records and incident reporting to maintain high standards.
  • Financial & Strategic Management: Develop and manage the transport budget, negotiate with vendors, and analyze KPIs to improve efficiency and cost savings.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments and address customer concerns, supporting logistics projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who are they looking for?

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management, with hands-on involvement in daily transport operations, fleet performance monitoring, and driver management.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards, including JPJ and APAD regulations, is necessary.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and route planning, along with MS Office skills, is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities are crucial for this role.
